Windows 2003 Server SP1 Affected
by tbeckner April 25, 2005 11:59 AM PDT
It also affected Windows 2003 Server boxes with SP1 installed. I know this because it brought down my servers. I am a Trend Micro partner and I love the products and the company, but my company took a hit on this one that extends beyond the actual situation. I analyzed their update timing over the past couple of years and I have set my update timing to reflect a safer approach and I recommended that my customers do the same.

Whoa! I certainly HOPE this is an isolated incident! Not more than two months ago I ditched Norton for Trend, and now this? I second the gent above talking about update timing. I left mine at the default three hours and I totally missed this bad boy! Crimeny! Time to back up the system, eh?
