- Notes is Flexible...

- I like Lotus Notes because it is flexible enough to allow the user control of how their email is displayed. It's not a matter of checking an option on or off, but being able to customize every aspect of the view.

(3 Comments)Since it is database driven it allows quick integration into other programs and Notes itself as a platform is able to provide applications that are not "email" related, and instantly integrate them into the email system.
I've used Notes in multiple environments where it handled the trouble ticket system and was great. Users would "email" the ticket, and when I got the ticket all the information I needed was there. Once the ticket was closed, the user could provide input on how satisfactory the work was completed.
