Yeah. Takes $1/year salary but, gets options worth millions as a reward for cutting cost and showing increased profitability. It doesn't matter even if that cost cutting could lead to reduced growth rate in the long run because all what these boards care is "short term" profits. And since stock prices are directly related to profitability CEOs make millions by the end of his/her term i.e. usually 3-4 years.

Meanwhile, 600 Cisco employees cut. I think Biden, once the dumbest man in the Senate, needs to open his eyes.

I have been through RIFs (reduction in force) as I am sure many people have. I wish anyone effected the best - it's tough out there just know you are not alone. Pick yourself up and fight back. Go to the competition and wreck havok :):)
