Worker pulls plug on digital bank robbery

by Andy Smith

A gang of digital bank robbers almost hijacked millions of dollars from a Swedish bank but an employee was able to pull the plug--just in time. The crooks had placed a piece of equipment under the bank employee's desk that could take control of a computer remotely. Apparently, the worker returned to his desk to see millions being transfered from his bank to outside accounts. He found the device and pulled the cable, foiling the heist. Seven suspects have been arrested.
