Prepare. To. Demo.

Most rousing demo award at TechCrunch50 goes to Bojam, simply because they had the music ("Africa," by Toto). The service is a music mixing product and online store.

Artists can lay down new sounds on top of tracks other people have recorded previously, and anyone with access to the tracks can mix music.

New completed songs can then be sold on the site.

The demo was loud and entertaining, and the technology is cool. If you're a musician looking for a jamming product, also check out eJamming, which I covered from the at the January 2007 Demo conference.

The Bojam mixer.

Looks good, though sounding-on to sync for $ on the Net is king -

(Download to sync the 'programmed loops')

This seems like the next step in the digital music evolution......real instruments....Guitar Hero....Rock Band...and now this. What's next? Pretty cool technologies that encourage the younger generation to engage in making music.

yeah, their tool looks cool. Providing a platform to make music. I've seen others out there that do similar things too. Latest one I saw was http:www.eggbeat.com they offer a tool that lets beginners create and share music.

Yap, these are some very good idea, some of them were on even before boJam, such as Indaba Music, and some are still in beta, like eggbeat and indomite.com,
hope this will bring music everywhere..
