Samsung Glyde

According to the Verizon Wireless rumor mill, the provider may just gets its hands on a selection of fancy cell phones. The dish that excites us most suggests that the Samsung Glyde will land at the carrier. From what we can tell, the Glyde (aka the SCH-u940) looks like a lot like the Samsung F700, which is a very cool keyboard phone that we've been longing for since we first saw it at CTIA last year. The F700 has yet to arrive at a U.S carrier, but if Verizon pulls through with the Glyde we'll be very happy. PhoneArena is predicting a May 9 launch.

PhoneArena also is predicting that the carrier will pick up a trio of LG models with the VX9700 Dare, the VX8610, and the VX8560. Each of the rumored handsets promises something special. The VX8610 is a slick slider model, the Dare should basically be a CDMA version of the LG Prada, and the VX8560 promises to be another flip phone version of the LG Chocolate. According to PhoneArena, the Dare could go on sale July 4. Finally, we might see a Verizon Nokia launch as well. The Nokia 6205 promises to be a slender flip phone with a midrange feature set. Goodies should include 3G support, a speakerphone, a 1.3-megapixel camera, and a music player with external controls.

I had first seen this phone on CnetAsia SCH-F700 and I love it. I would like to know if anyone is doing any further research on trying to find out what a definite date that it might be released for Verizon.
