Is the Touch out of reach? Try an alternative.

Like its iPhone kin, Apple's iPod Touch is the object of an overwhelming amount of fanboy technolust. Unfortunately, Apple's high tech comes at a high price. If you're looking for a touch-screen MP3 player that doesn't suck, there are a handful of decent options available to you.

See CNET's round-up of iPod Touch alternatives.

Unfortunately, it doesn't matter that there are other good, viable, and cost effective alternatives to the ipod touch and other Apple products. By the year 2021 Apple will control the world. I have seen it. For a sneak peek into the future:

I know that this blog post was a joke and I'll just think about it from a serious hardcore Microsoft fanboy's point of view...

"Seriously, I don't really think that Apple will take over the world by 2021 ?? WAHAHAHAHA !!! LMAO !! They can't even overthrown Windows in the PC market. And now try to take over the world ?? What's this kind of joke ??

Also, what brought back Apple to profitability is Steve Jobs. He came back as CEO in the mid-90's when his company was in the toilet. Once Steve will quit as CEO of Apple, the company will fall and gradually be in a deeper toilet with which Microsoft will happily flush. I mean, once Steve quits, who will watch over all of the begillion proprietary stuff that Apple created under Steve Jobs ?? Be realistic, he will be 74 years old in 2021."

Now my take on this blog post :

The "iThing" branding REALLY ticks me off !! The branding is inconsistent, unoriginal and it's abused by a lot of companies. BTW, Microsoft is no better with Windows this and Windows that...

Anyways...just my two cents
