Waterproof MP3 players aren't novel anymore, but this iRiver iFP-380T system caught our eye not just for its rather unusual design but because it can go scuba diving with you. This device lets you take your music not just into water, but up to 200 feet deep in it.

The full kit comes with the player as well as its waterproof case and headset. A removable clip helps keep the single headphone securely fastened to the strap of the scuba mask. It's a pity that this can store only about 30 songs with its limited 128MB storage, but at $99 it's a small price to pay to have Beyonce accompany you on your next dive.

30 song limit

it´s logical, for how long are you going to dive? When you dive, you plan. You can plan which songs to take underwater, make the perfect selection and then go down without having to worry (or loose time) changing or searching for music... the experience would be more rewarding....unless you run into a white shark wihout having loaded that spooky theme for that ocassion, but WTH, the last thing you´d be thinking about is your music

Dangerous?

This seems like it would be dangerous to me. It's hard enough to get your buddy's attention if he isn't looking at you underwater - if he's got headphones on, you're never going to do it without grabbing his fin. Not necessarily an option when you're suddenly out of air...
