If you don't have the big bucks to blow on a self-tuning guitar, there may be an alternative. The "eNote" by China-based Eleca is a "clip-on digital chromatic tuner" for stringed instruments that guides you through the process with a color-coded display. (Green = good, red = bad, etc.)
We have no idea how well this works, but it costs only $25, according to Slippery Brick--chump change compared with the prices of those expensive robo-guitars, which have yet to prove their worth in the music world at large. Then again, if you're colorblind as well as tone deaf, the eNote probably isn't for you.
