One of the easiest ways to help Mother Earth is to ditch your petrol-guzzling, smog-bellowing harbinger of death, in exchange for a G-Wiz. It's a fully electric car, meaning you never, ever have to fill it up with petrol. Just plug it in at home or at your local garage, charge it up for eight hours, then drive to your heart's content, safe in the knowledge that you're not exacerbating Mother Nature's toxic asthma.

We recently went for a spin in one of these mobile rabbit hutches and can bring you video evidence of why you should own one. Sure, it's like driving a can of sardines, and your mates will probably laugh at you, and they've been prone to blowing up for no reason, but the G-Wiz is exempt from the congestion charge, you can park it for free, and it costs less than one English penny per day to run. Now who's laughin'? Click here to check out our funky video of the adventure.

Who's in La La Land here.....

Ah, yes....the ELECTRIC CAR. Saviour of our planet. Yea, right. Just where do you think the electricity comes from? COAL BURNING PLANTS. Talk about air polution. Where does coal come from.....OPEN PIT MINING....lets scar mother earth. Now, Lets further think about the massive amount of HIGH ENERGY CABLES that have to go on top of the thousands of new TOWERS that have to scar the landscape to carry this new energ form. Then, just like the OIL COMPANIES, wait til your rates go up because the "grids" that provide all the new coal generaged power are too old to handle the massive "NIGHTLY PLUG IN'S, and they need to gouge you to build new power plants and fund their golden parachutes while their at it. We have brown outs now...and have had total power failures effecting several The entire East Coast of the USA and Canada not long ago. Then what are you going to do with all the SPENT VEHICLE BATTERIES AFTER THEY WONT TAKE A RECHARGE. So which is really better in the long run.

Have you seen the new G-Wiz i? It was launched last week with a new Lotus safety package, is crash tested, does 50 mph, is still the greenest and cheapest way to get around on 4 wheels - and the only EV that Londoners actually buy.
