T-Mobile snags Wi-Fi-lovin BlackBerry Curve

RIM BlackBerry 8320

AT&T may have scored the RIM BlackBerry 8820 last week, but we're thinking T-Mobile got the better deal with the just-announced RIM BlackBerry 8320, aka the BlackBerry Curve with Wi-Fi (Yahtzee!). Why? Well, first it has the same sleek design of the original Curve and a more spacious and easy-to-use QWERTY keyboard. You also get a 2-megapixel camera, whereas the BlackBerry 8820 is sans camera. Of course, the latter is definitely aimed more at the business set, whereas the BlackBerry 8320 will have more mass appeal. And what can we say about the addition of Wi-Fi? Yes, please! The RIM BlackBerry 8320 will be available starting Monday for $249.99 with a two-year contract, and you have your choice of two colors: pale gold or titanium. We've actually been spending some quality hands-on time with the device over the weekend, so be sure to check back Monday morning for our full review.

by ptunison September 25, 2007 10:28 AM PDT
I purchased the phone on monday morning. After using a treo 650 for about
2.5 years, i was ready for a new phone. I waited and waited for the iphone,
bought one..and returned it. I am a huge apple fan, but it seems they are
dropping the ball. The new Tmobile black berry with athome service is in my
opinon the best phone on the market. The at home serivce works very very well.
The phone is very nice looking and easy to operate. I highly reccomend it!!

Review the HotSpot @ Home
by NEMY_1 September 30, 2007 3:09 PM PDT
Hey Bonnie - Why don't you review how well T-Mobile's HotSpot @ Home service
works with the new Curve? We all know the device is great as it has been
available at AT&T for a few months now. What we don't know, is if this device
works better than the other T-Mobile devices on their HotSpot @ Home service.
Thanks!

p.s. we know the keys are slippery :-)

I can't wait to try this phone out. I have been a faithful Treo user for the last 4 years but it's time for a change.
