The PlayStation 3's game library might still seem sparse, but at least it's getting some pretty interesting peripherals. Logitech just unveiled the Cordless Mediaboard Pro, a Bluetooth keyboard designed specifically for the PS3, and a follow-up to the original Cordless Mediaboard. The new Mediaboard Pro is a full-sized keyboard that connects wirelessly to the console itself, without dealing with the controller. Its built-in touch pad, PS3 control, and media buttons offer plenty of ways to browse the Web or access your media, and its glossy black finish matches the PS3 much better than the original, relatively drab silver Mediaboard. The board looks thin, but still too cumbersome to keep on your lap and type with while you're playing games. If you're taking advantage of the PS3's media functions or chatting over the PlayStation Network, though, it looks like a handy accessory, especially compared to the much smaller, controller-anchored Xbox 360 chatpad.

Logitech also announced the Cordless Vantage Headset, a Bluetooth headset designed for the PS3. The snazzy-looking black headset features a rechargeable battery Logitech claims can last for 12 hours, and a noise-canceling microphone to reduce background noise.

These wireless, chatty PS3 accessories won't be cheap, though; both devices will detail for about $80 each. The Logitech Cordless Mediaboard Pro ships in October, and the Cordless Vantage Headset will hit stores in November.

That's what I really want. How about a Harmony 880-like model that controls the PS3, too?
