If someone were out to sabotage what little productivity we had left, issuing us one of these would be a good start: a nine-button mouse. Why anyone would want one of these is beyond us--but, then again, we have a tough time just working a remote.

This contraption would surely confound us in countless ways, but Coolest Gadgets Zone says this wireless optical mouse would speed things up considerably while maintaining proper ergnomics, recharging in its cradle when not in use. All that may be true, but we'd have to figure out how to read the diagram shown here first.

I'd love it if it came with good customization

I use a Logitech mouse with eight buttons now (of which the only two I haven't reprogrammed are left click and right click) The scroll ball and multiple buttons would make me consider this. I just wish they'd have added some sort of scale information.

I currently use a Microsoft 5-button mouse with scroll wheel. I'd definitely enjoy the 9-button mouse and would use most of them, especially the track ball. Maybe those of us who grew up on video games adapt better to these sort of improvements?
