The high hopes we had for the iPhone-esque Venzero Slickr media player have unfortunately come crashing down. This stunning, little German gem is woefully short on substance, but damned if it's not purty to look at. You can check out our full report on the Slickr over on CNET reviews, as well as our First Look video. Or, for those with short attention spans, take a gander at our annotated slide show.

Donald Bell is CNET Reviews' senior editor for MP3 players and portable audio, and one half of the MP3 Insider blog and weekly podcast. He also likes getting his hands dirty with digital audio tools for musicians and DJs.

Slickr is a rebranded Hacha R280S
by HachaOnline August 11, 2007 8:20 PM PDT
The Slickr is exactly the same as the Hacha R280S but with a modified firmware. Everything is exactly the same besides the menu GUI.
Venzero's sites even states that their manufacturer is in Shenzhen China (where Shenzhen Hacha Industrial is based).

Visit http://hacha.cn and http://HachaOnline.com for more details.
