A clock that won't bug you Saturday morning

Crave got so sick of silly alarm clocks that we once considered imposing a moratorium on them. But we were sure that Caroline McCarthy would have protested.

Then, much to our shock, we came across one that's actually useful for a change. Why? Because it's simple: The "RiteAlarm" from Rayna Creations doesn't have tons of features or inane gimmicks like defusing fake bombs. Instead, it concentrates on waking you up (how novel).

Gadgeteer points out one of its most practical aspects, an easy way to set different wake times for weekdays, Saturday and Sunday. But our favorite feature is the snooze alarm, which can be set to go off automatically up to five times.

I Hated Saturday Alarm Too!
by TS22Ford May 8, 2007 2:34 PM PDT
I like this new alarm clock. Three of the four people in my family need it, as my wife and I go to work every weekday, and my elder boy also goes to school Monday through Friday. But best of all, I like the idea that Saturday alarm can be turned off forever, as I still remember the good old days that we had some crazy Friday night, but we forgot to turn off the alarm, and the next morning -- We just hated the alarm clock on Saturdays.

Luckily we don't need alarm clocks in the weekend any more, as we now have two little live alarm clcoks that shouts "Daddy" and "Mommy".
