Look out! AT&T/Cingular is painting the town red as they officially introduced the red RIM BlackBerry Pearl and the crimson Palm Treo 680 today. The Pearl will sport a dark ruby red casing, rather than the blinding hue we had feared earlier. It'll also be the first phone to sport the new AT&T branding. Aside from the cosmetic changes, the blushing smart phone keeps all the features of the original BlackBerry Pearl, including push e-mail, multimedia functions, and push-to-talk capabilities. The red Pearl is available starting today; prices start at $199.99 with a two-year contract and after rebates.

Also, adding a splash of color to AT&T's lineup is the crimson Treo 680. As you may know, the carrier previously only offered the graphite version but decided to add the crimson model to give its business users (and prosumers) more choices when it comes to selecting a smart phone--"corporate going color," they say. The Treo 680 Crimson is available online now and in select outlets, and will retail for $199.99 with a two-year contract and after rebates. Go ahead--add some spice to your life. Es muy caliente!
