The annual 3GSM cell phone extravaganza is under way in Barcelona this week, and though Crave isn't in sunny Spain, we've been blogging away to bring you the top news from the show.

Smart phone diva Bonnie Cha waded through a ton of smart phone news to deliver info on the new RIM BlackBerry 8800, a trio of new Nokia E series smart phones, the Nokia 6110 Navigator, and the long-awaited GSM Motorola Q. Cha also covered the HTC Vox (and accurately pointed out its lack of 3G), the Nokia N77, and the I-Mate Jaq3.

Nicole Lee, who loves all things small and shiny, wrote about speculation that LG will launch two Windows Mobile 6 devices, the new Aries smart phone from Asus, new HSDPA smart phones from Toshiba, and a new partnership between AT&T/Cingular and Qualcomm's MediaFlo.

Finally, you can check out my posts on new thin phones from Motorola and Samsung, the adorable Neonode N2 cell phone that lacks buttons of any kind, Microsoft's PlayReady DRM system and the super-multifunctional Possio Greta.

Stay tuned for more news as it develops. And if you're in need of visual stimulation, don't miss Cha's slide show of the new Nokia handsets and my slide show of the fancy new Samsung and Motorola mobiles.

Kent German is a senior editor for cell phone reviews at CNET. When he's not testing the newest handsets on the market, he's blogging about cell phone news for Crave. In his On Call column, he answers reader questions and gives his take on the rapidly changing mobile industry. E-mail Kent.
