'Bus Ball'--not ready for rush hour

We assumed this was a Photoshop job when we first saw it on Spluch, but now we're not so sure. This "Bus Ball," credited to an artist and musician named Billy Gibbons, apparently morphs the remains of classic VW bus into a spherical objet d'art. We assume it's non-functional, though we suppose it can roll around on its own somehow. But then you'd probably have to repaint it after every outing.

Sounds like Corky Coker. Here's our take on his antics in the automotive world:

looking at the comments in the blog it was corrected like a week after it was posted by "jesse", and coker thanked him for the clarification. Awesome art though...is this STILL making the rounds?

- I had a video clip that I found on the internets a few years ago, and from it can confirm this; the bus ball was mounted on a post, and rotated. It also had functional doors that could open and close. Bug me and I'll try to dig it up. Lars Fisk also did a UPS van ball, brick building ball, and some other stuff. Though it's hard to find details on him now.
