So much of the electronics industry is defined by opposite extremes--the smallest of the small and the biggest of the big. Nowhere is that more evident than in TVs. On one hand, we lust after displays the size of a billboard; on the other, we covet things like this combo LCD TV and DVD player with a 7-inch screen.

There are other TVs and DVD players in this size and smaller, of course, but Hannspree has combined the two into one product that weighs less than 2 pounds. And unlike portable products made primarily for the car, as Popgadget points out, this $300 combo looks good enough to blend into the home decor. But if you do want to take it on the road, it comes with a car mount, cigarette lighter adapter and 3.5-hour rechargeable battery. Just be sure to keep it out of the driver's line of sight.

BUG? I don't understand!
by Petrifiedwood December 9, 2006 4:44 PM PST
I see no description in you text that describe any kind of BUG. I'm so tired as a Consumer buy all these cheap untested electronics that fail. I work hard for my money and I hate blowing it on stuff that breaks. They say only 1% of all electronics fail. I thought I was buying from that 1% of stock. It nice that you guys test this stuff to protect us. It's too bad you didn't tell us what the defect was that you found.

I think it's just a poorly written title...

The writer may have meant something like "Travel Fever," meaning a consumer will want to use this product while traveling. I'm not sure on that, though.
You guys don't get out much, do you?

"Trave Bug" is a common phrase. Duh.
