Continuing today's theme of natural materials, our cousins across the pond have alerted us to this "eco-friendly wooden plasma TV."

High-tech carpentry is nothing new, of course, but it's usually been reserved for sylvan hobbyists and other odd blokes. But LG is going mainstream with a woodland look of its own for a new 52-inch flat-screen set destined for commercial customers. Crave UK wasn't allowed to film the TV but ingeniously came up with an artist's rendition as seen here.

"The bezel is made of compressed wood (derived from renewable forests) and finished in white water-based paint," the cheeky monkeys write. "We were also pleased to learn LG has used lead-free or low-lead internal components. The screen is a tech-crazed hippy's dream come true."

I'm a teacher on a serious budget; the frames we got for our family room, kitchen, and master bedroom flatscreens were from wholesaleflatscreenframes.com. The frames were beautiful, they fit, were easy to install (I did one myself) and they were inexpensive compared to the other frames we looked at which is why we were able to get three.

Also, our frames are hardwood and look as well, if not better, than the frames around our paintings. We love the look because they make our televisions look even thinner than they are - which they should mention on their website. We can highly recommend this company and this look?
