BenQ X720

I don't know about you, but I was getting sick and tired of all those 0.8-inch-fat 7-megapixel cams, like the Sony DSC-T10 and Casio EX-S770, trying to pass themselves off as ultracompacts. Thank heavens BenQ came along with its X720, which not only gives me 7 yummy megapixels, but squeezes them into an anorectic 0.49-inch-thin chassis! Now there's room in my pocket for a camera and Tic Tacs! In fact, I'm even more surprised that the company's not touting the X720's ability to shoot at to as high as ISO 4,000 as part of its Super Shake-Free antiblur system.

The X720 is supposed to ship this month, though I doubt it will land on U.S. shores. Thanks to The Register, without which this tidbit would have passed me by.

This looks awesome. I'd love to see a full review comparing it to the competition... & they'd be fools not to market it in the US.
