Sherlockians and "Cumberbitches" alike can now show off their love for the BBC series "Sherlock" with these leggings from Gold Bubble Clothing that pay tribute to the detective's eclectic taste in wallpaper -- just in time for the January debut of the show's third season.
Available for a limited run through December 13, the "Bored Leggings" feature the Nureyev Collection: Navarre - Dark Chocolate wallpaper seen in Sherlock's apartment on the show.
The $69 leggings also feature the yellow happy-face doodle that's spray-painted onto the wall using the same color paint Sherlock (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) researched to crack the code in "The Blind Banker" (season 1, episode 2). Later, in "The Great Game" (season 1, episode 3), we see Sherlock shooting at the spray-painted happy face the wall out of boredom.
"Properties with fan bases as ardent as Sherlock's should always have good geek fashion," Gold Bubble founder and designer Jinyo told Crave. "There is a whole host of female fans who love the show for more than just how sexy Cumberbatch is. A lot of fans love how stylish the show is, and want to express their fandom through their clothing. And unfortunately, there isn't that much 'Sherlock'-related fashion to be had."
"Sherlock"-inspired clothing isn't the only geek apparel Gold Bubble offers. It also has Han Solo-style leggings from "Star Wars," anime leggings, and more.
For ladies who want to add more to their wardrobe than geek T-shirts, Jinyo offers some advice.
"The best way to find the good stuff beyond T-shirts -- to get ideas on how to build a stylish geek wardrobe or a fashionable geek-themed outfit, or to even learn how to make your own fandom inspired clothing or accessories -- is to keep an eye on the growing crop of blogs and Web sites devoted to stylish geek fashion like Set to Stunning. Pinterest is a great place to spot geek wear you might otherwise miss, geeky DIYs, and an inspiration for putting together outfits that have the flavor of your favorite characters, without relying on T-shirts."
The third season of "Sherlock" debuts on January 1 in the UK and on January 19 on PBS.
