Geode turns your photos into a night light

Innovative picture frame now being funded on Kickstarter illuminates your images while doubling as a night light.

Instead of leaving your favorite snaps to languish virtually, the folks at Ghost Nest have created an interesting way to show off your prized images.

The Geode is basically an oddly shaped picture frame that illuminates specially printed versions of your chosen snapshots. Just send your images in and the company will print them for you. This unique picture frame comes with a rechargeable battery and will glow for up to 6 hours on a full charge.

Made from aluminum and plastic, the Geode contains 15 individual LED lights and is rated to have a 25-year life span. We like the concept, as the Geode allows you to showcase your images while doubling as a night light. LED lights tend to consume less energy, too.

If you're looking to shed some light on your images, you can get the Geode with a basic $35 pledge on the company's Kickstarter page.
