Promotions come and go, but many will be sad to see Verizon's generous offer of double the 4G LTE data for the price of one revert to the standard rate.

Verizon customers will have until June 5 to lock into monthly data rates of 4GB for $30, 10GB for $50, and 20GB for $80, according to Gotta Be Mobile.

"We have let our team know about the offer ending, and they are letting customers know," confirmed a Verizon spokesperson.

Verizon's data offering is a sign of Big Red's robust 4G LTE network, which currently covers over 250 markets nationwide. While Verizon is confident in its ability to consistently support a growing number of data-hungry 4G LTE users, AT&T is still slowly rolling out its network to 39 markets (as of today). Sprint, meanwhile, has three LTE-ready phones and no market to speak of.
