PlayStation Vita will launch with 8GB card for limited time
Sony announces the "Launch Bundle" version of its PlayStation Vita, which will include a 8GB card and free game for the same price as the 3G/Wi-Fi model.

Sony has announced a "Launch Bundle" version of its Vita console for release on February 22 that will include an 8GB card and free game for the same price as the regular 3G version.
The PlayStation Vita 3G-WiFi Launch Bundle will be available from launch while supplies last and will also include a monthlong 250MB AT&T DataConnect Session Pass for a total of $299.
By contrast, the flagship PlayStation Vita First Edition Bundle ($349.99) only includes a 4GB card and the Little Deviants game.
The previously announced PS Vita 3G/Wi-Fi ($299) doesn't include a data allowance and the memory card needs to be purchased separately.
In CNET's hands-on with the Japanese version of the Vita, Jeff Bakalar criticized the console for its inability to operate without a memory card straight out of the box and urged Sony to include one with U.S. versions.
Sony has yet to announce which game will be included as part of the Launch bundle.
Rounding out Sony's offering is a fourth bundle, the PS Vita Wi-Fi ($249.99), which is non-3G and also requires a separately available memory card to work.
Sony's proprietary memory cards start at $19.99 for the 4GB model, while the 8GB is $29.99.
