Otterbox has moved into the e-reader arena with its new Commuter series case for the Kindle, Kindle DX, Nook, and Sony Reader Touch Edition.

From its humble beginnings as a small company that made tough, protective cases for your iPhone, Otterbox is branching out into all kinds of devices, including e-readers.

The fast-growing Otterbox is now selling the new Commuter series for the Kindle 3, Kindle DX, Nook, and Sony Reader Touch Edition.

Alas, no case yet for the Nook Color, but hopefully something is coming. Except for the Kindle DX version ($64.95), each cover costs $49.95.
