While most boomboxes are endowed with vibrating cones to generate sound, the funky i-Mo resonance speaker works quite differently by making music on any flat surface. This can be anything ranging from a wooden desk to marble floors and even a plastic box. It's all user-configurable based on the material and density.
The resonating player comes with 2GB memory to hold MP3 files, a built-in FM radio, and a mini jack (think earphone socket) input for hooking up portable media devices such as an iPod.
Playback control is taken care of via a front play/pause button and a pair of "horns" for switching tracks, the latter giving the i-Mo a somewhat cute cow-like persona. The internal 1200mAh battery can be recharged from a USB port and an optional 5V power adapter.
