preGAME 07: Metro 2033
This week on preGAME, hosts Jeff Bakalar and Mark Licea take a sneak peek at the action-thriller Metro 2033! Join us as we play it live on the show and talk to the game's executive producer, Luis Gigliotti live in the studio. We chat with Luis about how the title made the jump from novel to video game and how the PC version was built in 3D from the ground up. Make sure to watch the entire episode to find out how you can score a copy of the game for Xbox 360!
But before our live demo, Digital City's Dan Ackerman joins us to wrap up all things GDC 2010. Dan was out in San Francisco for all the fun, so we pick his brain to find out the good, the bad, and the ugly.
First, we'll talk about the highly anticipated title Mafia II and how it compares with Grand Theft Auto IV. Will it just be the same game only set in the 1950s? Next, it's on to more about PlayStation Move, the newly announced Sony motion controller for PlayStation 3. Finally, we'll take a look at the extended trailer for Brink, a title that looks to combine parkour with first-person-shooting. Think Mirror's Edge meets Borderlands.
