Like huh? Unlike the Wi-Fi Detector and Dynamic Life T-shirts, which could be considered moderately useful, the Interactive Portal Shirt from ThinkGeek simply doesn't seem viable. Mounted in front of the apparel is a wireless 5.8GHz pinhole camera and TFT (thin film transistor) LCD display. The shooter projects what you see to the person wearing the other shirt by displaying it on the wearer's screen and vice versa, creating an imaginary portal between the two people.

It's completely useless if you buy only one shirt since the "portal" requires a pair to work. Two shirts, by the way, will empty $200 from your wallet.

They're not (in theory) the same as having a mirror on your chest. Each one displays what the *other* person is facing. So yeah, if you and a buddy are facing each other, each does work like a mirror (except that the image is not reversed as in a mirror). HOWEVER...if your buddy is down the street at the bakery, then when you look at your own chest you see that your buddy is buying cake. Or possibly lying about cake. Anyway, yeah. April Fools! In October...

You're kidding, right? $200 for this? I guess it could appeal to a certain portion of the population. But I don't see which portion and I am not a part of it. I really can't think of anything nice to say about it, so I will end this comment now.

Until they a real portal is created, this might be as close as you can get. But even if it was on sale, $200? You're better off using a two-way remote surveillance system that works through satellites. Besides, people will look at you and think "Oh look, a walking TV".
