PS3 Slim spy photos turn out to be the real deal
When we first reported rumors of a possible PS3 Slim back in May, little did we know that the spy shots we got our hands on were actually dead-on. That's right, the infamous grainy photo is the authentic PS3 Slim box just flattened out.
Well what about the candid photos of the PS3 Slim's plastic shell? Judge for yourself--it looks to us that those were also completely accurate. Sure, we'll continue to take rumors with a grain of salt, but have we learned anything from this experience that will help us separate fact from fiction in the future?

Really, it's amazing how gullible people are when it comes to marketing, propaganda and misinformation.
The first reason I mentioned - cost... the biggest one - yeah, that will help them sell many units. $300 is a lot nicer than $400. I bet these things will start leaving shelves in the near future. It costs as much as a typical bluray player to boot.
Btw, in case you think that I'm a PS3 fanboy, I love my 360 and actually play more games on it.

- lots of comments from enraged xbox 360 owners are coming.. envious of the fact that ps3 will eventually outsell the xbox360 in the long run, unless an xbox360 slim with wifi, bluray, internally charged controllers and free xbox live online comes with same 299 price tag..

(16 Comments)the other huge fact that xbox 360s outsells the ps3 is because xbox360s can be modded unlike the ps3..
