This week we got nostalgic about the Game Boy Micro and got excited about this fabulous '80s-style Casio watch. Not surprisingly, all that looking back got us rifling through our mental gadget drawers and thinking about other classics we pine for.

So what about you? Which of these old-time favorites do you miss most? Vote in our poll. And if you have something better, please share it in the comments!

Forget those -- how about the original iMac?

Say what you will about the hockey puck mouse, but the system had a quintessential level of hipness and probably the strongest Mac "vibe" of many systems, even to this day. Newer iMacs are cooler (I'm writing from an aluminum model), but they don't have the same charm.

out of all those listed, I only had the startac, and I find it funny that people call cellphones, gadgets..Sure, today's cellphones are more gadget like than those of old, so for today's cellphones, they would occupy the lower rung of gadgetry. To me a gadget it say, a Nintendo DSi...or a MP3 watch. Perhaps a digital media player that is networked and connected to your TV...and unfortunately, I'm finding fewer and fewer items that can really qualify as true gadgets! Sure, I have my Tuttuki Bako cube...and my glowing clock/temperature cube...and my egg shaped digital photo frame that advances to the next picture by rocking it back and forth...
But as for old gadgets? Well, I miss my AT&T EO 440...I still have it, but I wish it was more usable...I miss my magellan portable GPS...again, I still have it, but today's GPSs are so much better, so no...I don't miss any of my old gadgets, and the old gadgets that I may miss, I still use...like my Newton MP2100...that goes with me everywhere I go!

Me too! Loved the Powerglove, and that was even before I saw "The Wizard". I also had a Super Scope 6. LOL, Virtual Boy anyone?! Nintendo was turning me into a cyborg.

Game Boy _Micro_?

I remember the original first-gen GameBoy... I took one with me to Desert Storm back in 1990, and judging by the absolute scarcity of AA batteries (I brought rechargeables), I certainly wasn't alone in having one. The screen may have been tiny and B&W, but I'm glad I brought one along...

My first GameBoy died a painful death after a long life, but I picked up another First Gen GB quickly after, and I still have that one.

Couldn't get more creative than having 2 out of the 5 gadgets be Apple products?

What about Casio calculator watches? Commodore 64? Nintendo NES?
