iLuv's bed-shaking iPod clock radio

Heavy sleepers rejoice. iLuv will soon be shipping an iPod clock radio that features not only dual-audio alarms but a "unique" vibrating bed shaking accessory that it claims will "wake even the deepest of sleepers."

The official name of the product is the iLuv iMM153 Desktop Dual Alarm Clock with Bed Shaker for iPod. It comes in four colors (black, blue, white, and pink) and will be shipping in July with an MSRP of $59.99. (More info here).

Personally, I'm waiting for the Desktop Dual Alarm Clock with Cattle Prod, but I guess this is a step in the right direction.

Good vibes, fine but lets think outside the "box." It should be washable (hello it's in a bed) and include long cord and a bass speaker on the vibe. Program to um bang out the chorus (or a reasonable vibration) to 1812 overture and folks will be jumping out of the bed.

I have a sonic boom alarm clock with this technology. It is for the deaf primarily but it works great for someone who can sleep through any alarm clock like me.

I sleep like the dead (6-8 alarms at once time). This could almost be worth while, but damn, it doesn't have the fail safe that throws water on you and then electricutes you. You know, just in case.
