Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference will open this morning with a keynote address from Phil Schiller, vice president of marketing. We'll be live-blogging the event from Moscone Center in San Francisco starting at 10 a.m. PDT, so head over here to follow our up-to-the-minute coverage of Apple's announcements at the show.
The conference has become one of Apple's highest-profile events, and this year there promises to be much discussion of the new iPhone OS 3.0, as well as a peek at Mac OS X 10.6, also known as Snow Leopard.
And, you know, maybe even new iPhone hardware. Be sure to join us live at 10 a.m. to find out!

Can it run active sync in the background? probably not,
Will there be a new interface? probably.
Will they charge you more $$ for it? definately.
Will snow leopard still not be out? probably.
Will snow leopard have a new interface? definately.
Will snow leopard do much more? probably not.
Will Apple charge another 100-150 as it does every 1-2 years for OS service pack?
You bet your life.
Will Apple fans herd in like sheep to buy whatever is sold and claim it to be "new" and "innovative" even if other operating systems have offered the same features?
Of course, nothing else defines an Apple user then paying for trends rather than utility and facts.
cut and paste?? probably not?? that has been officially confirmed by apple for months, he has no idea what he is talking about
Hater, but he's right on the fan boys.
For iPhone owners, it just keeps getting better. When iPhone OS 3.0 arrives this summer, it will introduce over 100 new features, including the ability to:
Search your iPhone
Cut, copy, and paste
Send photos, contacts, audio files, and location via MMS*
Read and compose email and text messages in landscape

I've got the OS 3.x update and yes it can.

OS X is a project, not a complete version with paid for service packs. I'd say future versions, like OS XI and up, will also be projects.
Also, guess what? XP was supposed to be a project too, but it turned into a normal version. Although you would have needed to pay an annual fee, if it remain as a project.
Sadly, that's about the only thing I disagree with there. He has a point.
