Butt seriously, copier paper turns into toilet rolls

by Juniper Foo

From the copier to the can.

Never thought I'd see the day when I would be wiping my rear with used copier paper straight from an office machine. Butt seriously, thanks to Japanese ingenuity, this could soon be smart waste management, employed in corporate buildings to recycle all that paper we're guilty of overusing into toilet paper.

There's just one wee catch. Nakabayashi's pricey $95,000 office machine requires a whopping 72kg of discarded paper (159 pounds, or about 1,800 A4 sheets) to churn into just two rolls of (hopefully pliable) loo paper. At least you can now say you've cleaned your behind with your boss' memo.

two things. i guarantee you the energy used to make this conversion completely obliterates the end result's eco friendliness.

and secondly, no 2 toilet rolls weigh 72kg... so unless it's BURNING the rest of the paper to fuel the process, i don't understand what the hell is going on here

we should make it mandatory for all offices specially government branches to purchase this machine to save planet earth. At last, I can see true genius behind this machine inventor(Japanese) to stop global warming by saving trees!!! Our government is wasting billions of dollars to purchase all those unnecessary war toys, so why not buy one million of this machine and give away as a sweep stake?

That's funny because the Japanese use hardly any toilet paper at all compared to the US as all their toilets are equipped with bidet sprayers. The Japanese Toilet is really a toilet bidet combination and although nice is also very expensive. You can keep your current toilet and get the same benefits by adding a hand bidet sprayer for very little cost. A hand held bathroom bidet sprayer is so much better than a stand alone bidet and this is why:: 1. It's less expensive (potentially allot less) 2.You can install it yourself = no plumber expense 3. It works better by providing more control of where the water spray goes and a greater volume of water flow. 4. It requires no electricity and there are few things that can go wrong with it. There's a map for that: GPS or smartphone?

Almost every handset comes with mapping software these days, but standalone GPS devices are becoming more affordable than ever.
