If you're not a fan of either the Palm Pre or the iPhone, you still might have something to look forward to in early June.

Someone has apparently tipped off Engadget Mobile that the LG enV Touch might launch on June 5. Slated as the much-awaited Voyager replacement, the enV Touch has a 3-inch touch screen on the front, a 3-inch internal screen, a full QWERTY keyboard on the inside, plus a few multimedia features like a 3.2-megapixel camera, a full HTML browser, EV-DO, and more.

The enV Touch will supposedly sell for $219.99 with a two-year contract and a $70 rebate. If this does turn out to be true, I guess we'll have a very busy first week in June.

yawn. does this even deserve to be compared to the iphone and Pre?

i don't get verizon. no one doubts they have the best network coverage...but why have their phones always been behind the curve? ever since i got a cell phone in 2000, i've stuck with Cingular/ATT because they always offered nicer phones than verizon. Back in 2000, bluetooth and integrated antennas were the big thing. Cingular had phones with these...verizon didn't and crippled any phones that had bluetooth. Also, they had the old school pull out antenna thing going on. last time i was out of contract, looked around and stuck with ATT again for the iphone. The storm was a failure. i guess verizon will get the iphone on their network eventually..again late, this time 3 years behind the curve.

It'll be here next year...
On Verizon that is...
Did anyone forget to mention how Apple WANTED to be on Verizon?
How Verizon turned them down?
I still don't understand why... but I do know, that I'd rather have an Okay phone with great service, than a great phone with okay service....

Well I was up for my new every 2 and was looking at phones. I really wanted the Samsung Omnia for its quite impressive features but needed a data plan.

So I waited a few weeks and saw the enV Touch. Always liked the first enV and was curious.

So I looked at the features and was impressed. Decided to order it since I could get it for $100 bucks. Got it and I don't think I can ever regret my choice. it is an amazing phone.

It feels to me like LG finally got the perfect blend of phone/media player/camers. Not too much camera but not too much anything else. And I came from a Samsung SCH-A990 (before it was renamed the Flipshot) so it was quite a change.

But I love the phone. Can't wait to get a SD card to load it with music, videos and the such. Already have about 20 songs on it to just listen to and I can't put the damn thing down even at work where phones are a no-no. I even like it better than the Storm and iPhone (not a fan of Apple as it is).

love to see what you think, share your view at http://www.Env-Touch.com a place just for the Env-Touch owners.

Lucky... I want one, but my contract doesn't run out until next February... but I'm gonna have to get a job or something to bring in money, cuz the Voyager I have (got it a few months after the release and before the Craze to get it went on) is ******.... course it is a replacement, but...

I need my full keypad, and want my touchscreen.... love the iPhone apps... and the way the web works on it, just not a great fan of texting on it... and that is the one thing I need most of all..
