Lucky high-schoolers. They actually have such a game now, courtesy of Aspyr Media and the SAT prep experts at Kaplan.
FutureU promises to sharpen students' critical thinking skills and build relevant knowledge with a collection of interactive games focused on math, reading, and writing. There's also a section that teaches the test-taking and time management skills necessary for taking the big exam.
The game has already shipped for the Mac and PC, with a Nintendo DS version on the way in November. The suggested retail price is $39.99, not much to pay if it helps you make something of yourself already.
The <SAT word>felicitous</SAT word> game is being pitched as a supplement to more traditional modes of SAT study, which seems like a very wise approach given the <SAT word>profuse</SAT word> amount of distractions facing any kid on a computer these days.
