Vinyl lovers' dream: Exotic four-arm turntable

by Philip Wong

Having just acquired a tube amplifier, I've been contemplating switching from CDs to vinyl to further elevate my music enjoyment. However, the above exotic concoction from New York's High Water Sound is something of a different magnitude. Modified from a TW-Acustic Raven AC turntable, it features four arms and companion cartridges from different manufacturers tailored for specific music genres.

This $56,000 piece of audiophile equipment was recently showcased during the Rocky Mountain AudioFest in Denver. If you've got the money to spare, you can contact the company.

This turntable looks amazing! I bet it sounds incredible with a tube amp! Curious though... which cartridges are assigned to each of the four music genres?

Kind of new to the audiophile world and don't know much about vinyl so if anyone can answer this that would be great.....

How would the arms and companion cartridges be tailored for different music genres? Like is there an arm better suited for classic rock (that's what I mostly listen to)
