It's clear that Samsung loves two things: slim slider phones and midrange camera phones with a flip design. Indeed, we've seen a deluge of such models over the last few years, with the latest in the slider camp being the Samsung SCH-U650.

Also called the Sway, (why, we're not quite sure), the SCH-U650 has a tried-and-true Samsung design. It's thin, silver, and attractive, but it wouldn't stand out in the cell phone crowd. It debuts October 14 on Verizon Wireless for $69.99 with a two-year contract and a mail-in rebate.

The Sway's features include a 2-megapixel camera, video recording, Bluetooth, a microSD card slot, instant messaging, personal organizer options, text and multimedia messaging, and a speakerphone.

like the article mentions, haven't we seen this before? why the deluge of phones that look the same and do the same things? samsung pushed (its) envelope with the instinct. this sway thing -- i've seen it before.
