You've probably never seen anything like the Davone Rithm, whose swooping curves and daring good looks are a new take on Danish speaker design. The Rithm features an 8-inch coaxial driver with a 1-inch tweeter placed in the center of the woofer.

The Rithm's bowed shape is built up from many layers of thin wood panels; the form-pressed cabinet was designed with acoustic and aesthetic considerations in mind. Contact the U.S. distributor, The Signal Collection, to learn more.

For such a sizable loudspeaker, pretty as it is, I can't imagine it produces particularly great sound. After all, even in a large enclosure, an 8" woofer is too small. Furthermore, an 8" driver is a bit too big for good midrange, especially when its trying to handle the lowest frequencies. Surely they could make an equally pretty three-way loudspeaker. (They could put the sub on the inside of the arch to improve the aesthetics.)

It's actually a 5.7" coaxial driver, not an 8" ... as for it being too small, it depends on what you want. Boom boom sizzle sizzle is already covered - why compete?

I'm sure it's not s a coinscidence, but this thing looks alot like a Starfleet insignia. they should call it the star Trek Collection, not the Signal collection

My initial thought exactly. Its the insignia from ST:TNG. Law suit in the works?

Very striking and sure to win some WAF contests. The bent ply harkens back to the most beautiful expressions of 20th century modernism -- Ray and Charles, anyone?

That said, it ain't got a thing if it ain't got that swing. . .
