I am going to whisper this very quietly, but there are some people who are sick of Zooey Deschanel's "self-consciously cute ways."
I use the quotation marks because I don't want the person who said it to have his house broken into by rabid men ages 18 to 34.
It would be men in that age range because, according to YouGov's indispensable and highly objective Brand Index, these men love the fact that Deschanel is starring in Apple's Siri ads.
More Technically Incorrect
Indeed, the very minute Apple launched its ads (which also featured the rather bossy Samuel L. Jackson), Apple's YouGov Buzz Score rose stiffly upward.
So much so, indeed, that Apple's Buzz Score in the 18-to-34 age range for both sexes immediately shot past that of Android.
This seems to have occurred within a mere five days. Before Zooey: Apple 16, Android 26. Five days into Zooey: Apple 30, Android 29.
YouGov declares, though, that the males account for most of the new buzz.
Buzz, though, is highly temporary concept. The batteries of excitement do tend to run out very quickly. It's the long haul that truly matters. Any actor will tell you that.
I am sure that Siri would tell you that too.
