i.e., investors, businessmen, government, should not be restricted or profitized for and by the few. The notion that users of open source products would actually want to pay for something which had been developed through mutual motives and effort is preposterous. This rubbish is typical of the wholesale deception practiced by the greedy elite whose only interest and efforts result in their selfish enrichment of the efforts of the selfless. Because of the insatiable lust for more and more personal fortune the progress of the entire species has been stifled, indeed since the religious conservatives have infested government and the business community the notion of the "common good", and the lot of the common man has moved backward by about a century. Technology and the willingness of men to contribute to the public good without a need for personal "wealth" affords man the chance to replace the stone age concept of scarcity for a forward thinking scientific reality of abundance in which man(dog) doesn't have to eat man(dog). Imagine that maybe God has provided for everyone and everything the basic necessities of life, and that the fellowship of mankind is now empowered to do Gods' work by helping each other, and by so doing lift not only himself but all mankind? For many this is not a just reward. It is those people who we must not allow the ability to continue to keep for themselves that which belongs to us all. Open source ideology is the beginning of the revolution which cannot be stopped. Their weapons are useless. Force and violence have become unnecessary, totally obsolete. Come on brother, let us share our way into a new reality, one love, one heart! One for all, and all for one! The man, big brother, is impotent if you and I resist those who have betrayed their God and their flesh and blood for fortune. True wealth and happiness comes from doing what you know is good and what you know is right. With each others help and open source we may yet find heaven here on earth. Free at last, free at last, great God almighty we can be free at last! Check out my hero, Buckminister Fuller, if you need a role model. We can change the world if we are willing to try. dr_klausenstein
