Apple is the greatest marketer of all time
How mad will you be if you got a new MacBook or MacBook Pro in the last few months and Apple comes out with some kind of super-cool new version this week?
I'll hazard a guess and say that you, like me, will be pretty annoyed. I got a MacBook Pro about a month ago and I am totally happy with it. That is, until a new one comes out with some new Flux capacitor and I find myself desperately needing to part with several thousand dollars.
That's why Apple is the greatest marketing machine of all time. Even when loyalists get mad they keep buying Apple products.

I was considering buying a Macbook Pro in July, but a quick look at Appleinsider.com told me that would be foolish. You have only yourself to blame, but I am sure (as your comments stated) you will keep loving Apple anyway ;-)

- I for one am a returning Mac user. I have not had an Apple computer since the old Apple IIe, back when I was around 12 or so (My family got one roughly four years after they were discontinued). I was excited to return to the Apple fray, after having an pleasurable and enduring enjoyment of my iPod. I acquired my MacBook (BlackBook) less roughly three weeks ago. I do feel that the new MacBook's are a mixed bag. On one hand they have faster RAM, but they also have slower processors. They have an aluminum chassis, but that means that the device is now slightly heavier. There are various trade offs, but the point is, is that certain things have been improved (glass touch trackpad) and I am missing out, because I decided to adopt the product now.
