Get a refurbished Xbox 360 Premium system for $219.99

Cash-strapped game junkies can score a refurbished Xbox 360 Premium console for just $219.99, plus a very reasonable 10 bucks for shipping. That's a pretty solid deal considering that it sells for $350 new.

The Premium version of the mega-popular game system includes a wireless controller, a 20GB hard drive, and a headset. Reseller Blue Bay Electronics doesn't specify the warranty period, but based on other Xbox refurbs I've seen, it's probably 60 days (you should definitely check with the company before ordering).

In addition to playing kick-ass games, the Xbox 360 supports movie and TV-show downloads via Xbox Live. Plus, it can double as a media-center extender, streaming live and recorded TV, music, videos, and other content from your PC. Though coming up on its third birthday, the 360 shows no signs of aging. CNET loved it; I love mine; you're sure to love it, too, especially at this price.

Assuming this comes with an extended warranty, $220 could be your meal ticket for a few refurbished 360's over the next few years. Hooray for RROD. kekeke.

Great price, but does it come with the HDMI output? The later models do, however if this is the first batch then they don't. I would like to know before I buy.

Alas, no, component video only on this one. It's the Elite model that has HDMI.

hay the link doesn't seem to work very well. It take me to low grade website called Blue Bay Electronics which doesn't even carry the Xbox 360. Please fix the link.

Hmmm... Just tested the link and it seems to work. Blue Bay is indeed the vendor, as indicated in the post.

After 5 years, Firefox faces new challenges

Mozilla helped reshape the Web since releasing Firefox 1.0 five years ago. Now it's got a reawakened Microsoft and Google Chrome to reckon with.

There's a map for that: GPS or smartphone?

Almost every handset comes with mapping software these days, but standalone GPS devices are becoming more affordable than ever.
