Get a TomTom One GPS for $99.99 after rebate

Remember the TomTom One 3rd Edition GPS from a couple weeks ago? It was a sweet deal at $119.99, but now it's even sweeter: Buy.com has refurbished Ones on sale for $99.99 (after a $20 mail-in rebate). Shipping is on the house.

I won't reinvent the wheel, here--check out my original post if you want to read more about this well-regarded navigator. I will say that it's rare to find a big-name GPS for under $100; most models in that price range are off brands. The rebate deal ends April 20, so if you want in, chop-chop.

Be extra cautious when using Buy.com promotion. They are currently running a $50 off on a $51 purchase when signing up for a RevolutionCard account. They don't mention that all sales are final when using a coupon. They gave me a return authorization for an unopened product. Buy.com confirmed that they received the product back, and promised a refund to my credit card within 7 business days. 3 weeks later, they said "no refunds" and won't even send the unopened product back to me. If they aren't going to follow their own refund policy, they need to give the merchandise back to the buyer. BUY.com is obviously getting some kind of financial benefit from RevolutionCard. At the very least, they should send back the item to me, and not just keep it, re-sell it, and make double their profit. Buyers beware!
