Get 'The Simpsons Scene It?' game for $5
OK, it's actually $5.09, plus a few dimes for sales tax, but normally this fun-for-the-whole-family game costs $30. Woo-hoo!
We're pretty big Simpsons fans here in the Cheapskate household. We own a Simpsons chess set, a Simpsons desk lamp, the complete Simpsons Halloween figurine set that Burger King put out, like, a decade ago, and--well, you get the idea.
So imagine my delight--and fast order-clicking fingers--when I discovered that Kohl's has The Simpsons Scene It? DVD Game for just $5.09 shipped (plus sales tax in some states). That's after applying two discount codes at checkout: Thanks1498 and FREEAPRIL.
Woo-hoo! Snag this interactive Simpsons game, normally $30, for just five bucks and change.
(Credit: Kohl's)In case you're not familiar with the Scene It? series, they're a combination of board game and interactive DVD. (I know, I know, the whole idea of a board game is to get the family away from the TV. Meh.) Not long ago my kids took Scene It? Jr. for a spin and loved it, so I suspect this Simpsons edition will be a big hit.
And five bucks and change out the door? That's pretty sweet, especially considering that it would cost you $29.99 if you walked into, say, Target.
My only concern is all the inevitable crying when I repeatedly whoop my poor family, whose Simpsons-trivia knowledge can barely hold a candle to my own. That's right, I said it.
By the way, I'm not sure how long those codes are good, so if you're interested, D'oh-n't delay. (Get it? D'oh-n't?)
