It's a great day to be a PlayStation 3 owner: Buy.com has the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Bundle for just $18.67, plus $3.99 for shipping.

The package includes a Les Paul wireless guitar controller, meaning you don't have to worry about tripping over a cord while, um, getting your Slash on.

The game itself features 70-plus tracks from the likes of Aerosmith, Heart, Guns N' Roses, and the Rolling Stones.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, GameSpot's review of Legends of Rock praises it for having "the best tracklist of any Guitar Hero game to date."

I've never really been into the whole Guitar Hero scene, but for 20 bucks I'd almost certainly grab this bundle--if I owned a PS3. Alas, the Xbox 360 version still runs around $50.

I realize there's a fairly small audience for this deal, so check back later--I might just have something with more universal appeal.

In the meantime...rock on!

I want to second the request on the "Up" section for a few more Netbook deals. Like the one from Microcenter for a $200 8.9 inch refurbished HP Mini 1116NR or a $200 refurbished eeePC900 (8.9" display, Celeron).

Oh, and for those lucky enough to have a Microcenter in the area, the retail centers often offer open box deals on the returned refurbs. So one can get the HP Mini 1116NR for as low as $159! At that price one could part it out and make a decent profit!

And I thought $35 from Amazon was a good price. This is almost half of that. Thanks for the great deal Mr. Broida.

BTW, today is the last day to take advantage of the deal Rick posted about restaurant.com.

Those restaurant.com deals happen all the time. One Week it is copons for $2 (80%) and the next week it is $3 (70%) and then it is $1 (90%). I use them, I like them, but they just try to scare you into thinking the deal ends. It never ends.

Not even a guitar hero fan, but I picked one up for this price. Will either become a fan, or make a pretty awesome gift to someone. Thanks Rick!!

Hmm... It's not sold out but it looks like the price is back up to $27.89 ($31.88 with shipping).

Still a great deal, yes.

I bought the original game for my PS2 before I had a PS3 when it was all the rage. $32 isn't too bad for a game that comes with a controller.

Hopefully the wireless will be better than the PS2 version. I preferred the knock off cheap-o wired guitar by far to the official wireless one that never seemed reliable.

This is a pretty good deal. It's already a couple years old, but if you don't already have it, you have no excuse to not pick it up. I bought it when it came out (on the xbox 360), and I paid around 80 bucks or more for it if I remember correctly. The set I got also came with a way crappier, wired guitar.

There are also some great tunes on this game. Definitely, like Rick stated, one of the best set lists in any of guitar hero games.

Too bad. It was $18 initially when I logged on buy.com and I went for it. And I just received an email confirmation from buy.com and it indicates ~$32 total price...

No deal here. I went onto the site earlier and it did reflect the $18 price, but now it shows $39 plus tax. Even the "Today's Deals" page on Buy.com show it for $29, but once you get it to the cart for checkout it's back to the $39 price.

WHY do you advirtise the game for $18.67, and then when I log on to buy the game its almost $50.00 is this some kind of joke???? or are you trying to sucker us into paying a LOT more then the advertised price !!!!!!!!

I ordered instantly the same day Cheapskate advertised, but still my order was cancelled. Did anyone got their order, or was this just a hoax to generate public to the seller's website?
