Buy two Xbox 360 games, get one free

The awesome LEGO Indiana Jones is one of many freebies you can get when you buy two other discounted Xbox games.

Much as I love game consoles, I can't bring myself to spend $60 on a game. Luckily, I have patience: I'm willing to wait till prices come down and deals come along. Case in point: Amazon is offering one free Xbox 360 game when you buy two.

The games are all "Xbox Platinum Hits," and hits they are. The 17 available titles include Assassin's Creed, BioShock (one of my all-time favorites), Gears of War, and Mass Effect.

If you've got kids, the choice is easy: buy LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga and LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures (for a grand total of $38.48--did I mention all the games are on sale?) and get LEGO Batman as your freebie.

(Seriously, the LEGO games are phenomenal. Can't recommend them highly enough.)

Just add any three titles to your cart; Amazon will subtract the price of the least-expensive one at checkout. And because you'll invariably end up over $25, you'll get free shipping, to boot. (You'll probably have to pay sales tax, though.)

Suffice it to say, this is a great way to stock up on Xbox gems on the cheap. Just one question for Amazon: when can we get this deal on PlayStation 3 titles?

I think you can get all of those games for less than that second-hand from amazon marketplace.

@savincash2009: I couldn't agree more. I picked up a PS3 the other day and was looking for a game my wife would like. She started playing it and I got jealous watching her, now we both try to play one board a night together.

I started Star Wars for the Wii and it's just as fun. Once we're done with those, we already have Lego Batman for the Wii ready to go.

And yes, Best Buy has buy one PS3 game at $59.99 and get one of equal or lesser value for 50% off. I picked up Metal Gear Solid 4 for $30.00 and got Rachet and Clank for $15.00. I hope the wife enjoys Rachet and Clank because I know she's not going like MGS4.

Thanks Rick. Just bought the 360 when the price went down recently and was looking to get some of the classics.

I'm with DJ - I'd get these older games on half.com for a fraction of the price. Bioshock is a great game, BTW.

The LEGO games are not just for kids. I'm over 30 and I love them.
There's a lot of depth in those games that many games don't have.
Plus, there's always a need for getting away from Music, Sports, and First Person Shooter games for awhile.

Not sure why my other post got deleted, thought we were all here to share good deals? Here's another one, (if this gets deleted, I guess I'll get the hint, though an explanation would be nice). Dell is having a sale on the PS3 Slim, not as good as last time, but still $30 off. $269.99 + tax, free 2 day shipping.

I agree. The Lego games are great. Waiting for a Lego Superman. Lego-superhero games seem to be the only ones that don't fail lol...with the exception of Arkham Asylum
