Nominate 'The Cheapskate' for a 2009 Weblog Award!

by Rick Broida

It would be an honor just to be nominated. Seriously!

Hey, there, you awesome bunch of readers. I have a favor to ask. If you like The Cheapskate, would you consider nominating it for a 2009 Weblog Award?

I feel guilty--downright cheap, in fact--for asking, but, well, it's one of the best ways I know of to spread the word about the blog.

All you have to do is head to the Weblog Awards site and nominate at least three different blogs. (Hey, as long as I've got my hat in hand, mind throwing a nom at Business Hacks, too? That's two right there!)

What's the most appropriate category for The Cheapskate? I'm thinking "Best-Kept Secret Weblog," as we're just not on the radar for most folks, but I leave the category pick up to you. And I thank you in advance for even considering a nomination.

Last thing: Please don't delay, as the nominations close Jan. 12. I now return you to your regularly scheduled money-saving programming.

Shameless. LOL. You got it, Buddy. I am looking for one more blog that I really like and then I'll submit the vote. Thanks for the recommendation of the 2nd blog, by the way. I already found useful things there.
