Google's mobile version of Gmail is a streamlined version of its full-featured sibling. Users can view and search through their in-box, and even open up attachments such as images, office documents, and PDFs. There are actually two versions of Gmail for mobile phones--one is just the URL, and another is a Java app that will run on any phone that can handle that type of application.

Gmail's mobile interface isn?t flashy, but like its desktop brethren, it makes use of keypad shortcuts that can make navigating and corralling your e-mail a little easier on your phone?s limited keypad.
