The Next Logical Step

With the whole Fake-nomenon thing slowly growing and thus slowly getting old,
I predict here the next step will be meta-fake blogs. Fake Steve should get the
honor of being parodied himself via by fakefakesteve as he was really the
pioneer of the style (in blogland anyway.)

I can't be arsed to do it because I'm too lazy but you read it here first. And
please, should anyone decide to try their hand at a meta-fake blog, please make
sure you are actually funny and knowledgeable. E.g. when you start speaking, do
friends and foes start yawning and making excuses to vacate the premises you
share with them? Then just start a blog about your collection of Warhammer
figures. Please.

I wish I could find a Fake Steve Wozniak. Fake Steve Ballmer is funny, but not enough chair throwing for my tastes :)

As the Macalope is already a mythical creature, I guess fake Macalope would be
redundant.

Oxymronic? Surely not

Mythical perhaps, but the Macalope is real, or he couldn't write the blog, so not a fake Macalope or a fake blog, all real!

After 5 years, Firefox faces new challenges

Mozilla helped reshape the Web since releasing Firefox 1.0 five years ago. Now it's got a reawakened Microsoft and Google Chrome to reckon with.

There's a map for that: GPS or smartphone?

Almost every handset comes with mapping software these days, but standalone GPS devices are becoming more affordable than ever.

About The Macalope: An Apple blog

Born of the earth, forged in fire, the Macalope was branded "nonstandard" and "proprietary" by the IT world and considered a freak of nature. Part man, part Mac, and part antelope, the Macalope set forth on a quest to save his beloved platform. Long-eclipsed by his more prodigious cousin, the jackalope (they breed like rabbits, you know), the Macalope's time has come. Apple news and rumormonger extraordinaire, the Macalope provides a uniquely polymorphic approach. He is a member of the CNET Blog Network and is not an employee of CNET. Disclosure.
